JioStar is set to deliver the biggest-ever TATA IPL experience in 2025, promising fans an unparalleled spectacle. Less than 24 hours before the 18th season begins, JioStar announced a never-before-seen presentation. The season will feature 25+ feeds across 12 languages on linear TV and digital platforms, with insights from over 170 experts, including IPL champions and World Cup winners. TV coverage will include feeds in English, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, and Kannada across the JioStar Network, while digital platforms will offer 16 feeds in 12 languages, including English, Hindi, Marathi, Haryanvi, Bengali, Bhojpuri, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, Gujarati, and Punjabi.
New Features and Immersive Viewing Options

JioHotstar’s live streaming will also introduce multi-cam feeds, a unique Hangout feed, and ‘Motu Patlu present Super Funday,’ a first-of-its-kind feed tailored for young audiences and families. “We have assembled a spectacle for TATA IPL 2025, celebrating the 18th season with groundbreaking innovations, top-tier talent, and an engaging presentation that will unite millions of fans,” said a JioStar Sports spokesperson.
Star-Studded Commentary Panel
In a notable addition, Kane Williamson, one of the world’s finest batsmen and former Gujarat Titans player, will debut as a commentator and expert. Joining him are IPL stars like Shane Watson, Mark Boucher, AB de Villiers, Virender Sehwag, Shikhar Dhawan, and Suresh Raina, providing fans with insider perspectives. The commentary panel also features former IPL captains Anil Kumble, Harbhajan Singh, Ambati Rayudu, Robin Uthappa, and Murali Vijay across multiple language feeds. Tamil commentary will feature the father-son duo of K Srikkanth and Anirudh Srikkanth, while 2012 IPL Final Man of the Match, Manvinder Bisla, will lead the Haryanvi feed.

JioStar aims to enhance viewer engagement with second-screen touchpoints. While watching on linear TV, fans can scan a QR code to relive key moments on JioHotstar.
