Haris Rauf’s PSL 2024 journey has come to an abrupt halt due to a dislocated shoulder sustained during Lahore Qalandars’ clash against Karachi Kings. The fast bowler’s exceptional catch at the long-off boundary rope led to the injury, necessitating a recovery period of four to six weeks.

Despite Haris Rauf’s commendable performance, securing 1 for 22 from his four overs, Lahore Qalandars suffered their fourth consecutive loss in as many games. Rauf, who played all four matches for Qalandars, managed to take only two wickets during the tournament.
Earlier this year, the PCB terminated Haris Rauf’s central contract after he opted to play for Melbourne Stars in the BBL instead of joining Pakistan’s Test tour of Australia. Despite his impressive performance in the T20Is in New Zealand, where he claimed seven wickets, Rauf’s decision led to the contract termination.
