Despite a 40-run partnership between Reeza Hendricks and Munir Ahmed, a three-wicket haul by Junaid Siddiqui and two wickets each from Saad Bin Zafar and Muhammad Rohid restricted Vancouver Knights to 110 runs.
Chasing a target of 111, Toronto Nationals’ captain Colin Munro and wicketkeeper Unmukt Chand put on a 41-run partnership. Chand was dismissed by Sandeep Lamichhane for 23, while Munro scored a crucial 44 from 39 balls. After Munro’s dismissal by Paul van Meekeren, Rassie van der Dussen and Nicholas Kirton guided Toronto Nationals to victory with more than five overs to spare. Rassie hit a boundary and three sixes, while Kirton added four unbeaten runs from nine deliveries.
