On Thursday, a serious car accident in Anuradhapura, Sri Lanka, sent former Sri Lankan cricket captain Lahiru Thirimanne to the Anuradhapura Teaching Hospital. Thirimanne’s car collided head-on with a lorry, severely damaging the vehicle.
