Former West Indies captain and Trinbago Knight Riders all-rounder Dwayne Bravo graced the pre-wedding ceremony of Mukesh and Neeta Ambani’s son, Anant Ambani, in Jamnagar. Among the attendees was Bollywood superstar and owner of Trinbago Knight Riders franchise, Shahrukh Khan.
The event saw the presence of several cricketers and celebrities, notably including Nicholas Pooran, Rashid Khan, Trent Boult, MS Dhoni, Rohit Sharma, Hardik Pandya, and Suryakumar Yadav. Furthermore, Mukesh Ambani’s strong ties with the cricketing world were evident as he hosted the lavish celebration.
Reunion with Shahrukh Khan
Bravo took to Instagram on February 2 to share a snapshot of his reunion with Shahrukh Khan, captioning it “Wedding vibes! Bollywood meets Cricket.” Bravo previously represented the Trinbago Knight Riders in CPL 2023, owned by Shahrukh Khan.
Connection with Mumbai Indians Franchise
Having played for Mumbai Indians in the IPL and recently representing MI Emirates at the ILT20 2024 event, Bravo maintains a close association with the franchise. Mukesh Ambani owns both Mumbai Indians and MI Emirates.
During the IPL 2023 season, Bravo served as the bowling coach for Chennai Super Kings (CSK), contributing to their title victory. He is poised to maintain his role with the MS Dhoni-led franchise in the upcoming IPL 2024 edition.
