Dhoni and Chahar dismiss Maxwell with a golden duck, leaving him stunned. Watch the action!

In a gripping showdown at the MA Chidambaram Stadium during the IPL 2024 opener between CSK and RCB, the game took a decisive turn when Glenn Maxwell fell prey to Deepak Chahar’s cunning bowling tactics. Ruturaj Gaikwad’s strategic decision to change Chahar’s end proved to be a stroke of genius for the Chennai Super Kings.

With the match hanging in the balance and RCB already losing two key wickets, Chahar delivered a precisely executed delivery to Maxwell at the 5.3-over mark. Pitching the ball on a good length around the off-stump, Chahar enticed Maxwell into an ill-fated shot. The subtle inward movement deceived Maxwell, forcing him into a tentative follow-through that resulted in an edge.

Maxwell’s dismissal handed CSK a significant breakthrough while dealing a blow to RCB’s momentum. At the moment, RCB stands at 48/3, facing an uphill battle against CSK’s formidable bowling attack.
