While celebrating a wicket, the Indian T20I captain accidentally stepped on Rinku Singh’s cap, which had fallen off his head. Realizing his mistake, Yadav immediately stopped the celebrations, picked up the cap, kissed it respectfully, and handed it back to Rinku. The gesture, showing utmost respect for the Indian cap, quickly went viral on social media, with fans praising Yadav for his humility and love for his country.
The match itself saw India dominate, posting a mammoth total of 283 runs, thanks to outstanding centuries from Sanju Samson and Tilak Varma, who shared a 210-run partnership. His century in the 4th T20I added to two back-to-back ducks, and he overtook KL Rahul to rank third among Indians for the most T20I centuries, behind Rohit Sharma.
