Rohit Sharma surpasses Sachin Tendulkar in a huge milestone. Rohit Sharma’s impressive form continues, with his tally of sixes in ODIs now standing at 330, just one less than legendary Jamaican cricketer Chris Gayle’s 331.

The Nagpur batter also became the first Indian opener to score 3000 runs in international cricket, cementing his position as one of the greatest openers in the game. His record-breaking achievement puts him among the top five batters with the most 50+ scores as openers, alongside David Warner, Chris Gayle, Sanath Jayasuriya, and Desmond Haynes.

Although Rohit Sharma and co. failed to chase the target in the second ODI against the hosts, falling short by 32 runs, India captain’s individual performance was a highlight. He will look to continue his form in the third and last match of the series against Sri Lanka on August 7.
