The image quickly went viral, resonating deeply with fans who admired Siraj’s gesture of gratitude towards his mother.

During the T20 World Cup, Mohammed Siraj played three matches but had limited success with just one wicket. Despite this, his dedication and emotional connection to the game were evident throughout the tournament. During the Super 8 stage in West Indies, Mohammed Siraj was replaced in the playing XI by Kuldeep Yadav.

Upon their return to India, the victorious Indian team received a warm reception in Delhi, where enthusiastic cricket fans gathered at the airport to catch a glimpse of the T20 World champions. Prime Minister Narendra Modi also extended a special invitation to the team for breakfast.

The celebrations continued with a grand victory parade at Marine Drive, Mumbai, and a special event organized by the BCCI to honor the Indian team for their remarkable achievement in the T20 World Cup.
