On Thursday, Ishan Kishan, known for his dual role as a wicketkeeper and batter, celebrated his 26th birthday with a visit to Shree Samadhi Mandir in Shirdi, a place of significance for him as a devotee of Lord Sai Baba. Sharing moments from his visit on Instagram, Kishan captioned his post with the words “Shraddha and Saburi.”

Recently, Kishan has faced cricketing challenges, including exclusion from the central contract due to his absence from domestic cricket commitments such as the Ranji Trophy, despite his availability. However, he made a strong comeback by playing for the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) in the DY Patil T20 Cup 2024, showcasing his skills both with the bat and behind the stumps.
In the 2024 IPL season, Kishan represented the Mumbai Indians, where he scored 320 runs in 14 matches at an average of 22.86 and an impressive strike rate of 148.84. His consistency in T20 Internationals (T20Is) has seen him accumulate 796 runs in 32 matches, while in One Day Internationals (ODIs), he has notched up 933 runs in 27 matches, which includes a century and seven half-centuries.
Despite recent challenges, Ishan Kishan continues to remain a significant figure in Indian cricket, balancing his spiritual beliefs with his commitment to the sport.
