After a glorious 17-year career, Maroof has decided to hang up her boots, leaving behind an unparalleled legacy as the leading run-scorer for Pakistan in both ODIs and T20Is.

Maroof’s cricketing journey began in 2006, marking a historic debut against India in Jaipur. Since then, she has etched her name in the annals of cricketing history with countless remarkable performances and contributions to the sport.
Throughout her illustrious career, Maroof amassed a staggering 3369 runs in 136 ODIs, boasting a healthy average of 29.55. Her prowess with the bat is further reflected in her 21 half-centuries and a career-best score of 99 runs in the ODI format.
Similarly, in the shorter format of the game, Maroof dominated with a total of 2893 runs scored across 140 T20I appearances. Maintaining a consistent average of 27.55, she registered 12 well-constructed fifties in T20Is.
