Ashwin emphasized the importance of hitting the right lengths and praised his teammates for their contributions. “Our bowlers hit the right lengths today, and Trent Boult got some swing and seam movement. The absence of dew in the second innings also played in our favor,” he noted.
He also highlighted the team’s blend of youthful exuberance and experienced support. “We saw some exceptional shots from our batsmen to chase down the target. Our greatest strength is the mix of young talent and seasoned players. With Shimron Hetmyer back and Rovman Powell finding form, we have the momentum to go forward,” Ashwin concluded.
