Jones, who already leads the tournament with 13 sixes, showcased his six-hitting ability once again by smashing a mammoth 101m six off Alzarri Joseph, landing the ball on the stadium’s roof. Joseph delivered a length ball on the stumps, and Jones, anticipating it, stayed back in the crease and unleashed a monstrous hit that soared onto the stadium’s rooftop. The ball connected perfectly with the bat’s sweet spot, sending it deep into the stands.

However, the excitement quickly faded when the West Indies struck back. They first claimed the wicket of Andries Gous, and then Roston Chase bowled Aaron Jones, shattering his stumps.
