NBA Roundup: Thunder Extend Streak to 14, Celtics Defeat Rockets

The Oklahoma City Thunder extended their winning streak to 14 games with a 117-107 victory over the New York Knicks on Friday, matching the longest streak in franchise history, including its time as the Seattle Supersonics. The Knicks, who had won nine consecutive games, saw their run come to an end.

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander led the Thunder with 33 points, but it was Aaron Wiggins who took control in the fourth quarter, scoring 15 of his season-high 19 points. Oklahoma City outscored New York 37-19 in the final period, with Wiggins hitting crucial 3-pointers. Isaiah Hartenstein contributed 14 rebounds and seven assists in his first game against the Knicks after leaving New York in the offseason. He also scored a key floater in the closing minutes to help seal the win.
