A new update has been announced for the upcoming anime Gorilla no Kami kara Kagosareta Reijou wa Ouritsu Kishi-dan de Kawaigarareru (Having Been Blessed by the Gorilla God, the Young Lady Is Loved by the Royal Knights). The latest news confirms an April 6 premiere, introduces the opening and ending theme songs, and reveals additional cast members. This announcement came alongside a fresh trailer and a key visual.
Shugo Nakamura performs the opening theme song, Illuminate, and also joins the voice cast. Megumi Ogata sings the ending theme song, Serendipity.

New cast members include:
- Arnschent Adler (voiced by Shugo Nakamura)
- Sin Qualle (voiced by Shunichi Toki)
- Victor Vork (voiced by Hinata Tadokoro)
- Leohard (voiced by Yuichiro Umehara)



Fumitoshi Oizaki (Chillin’ in My 30s After Getting Fired from the Demon King’s Army) directs the anime at studio Kachigarasu. Hitomi Amemiya (A Condition Called Love) handles series composition, while Sakae Shibuya (Deaimon: Recipe for Happiness) designs the characters. Seima Iwahashi (Quality Assurance in Another World) is in charge of the music, with Yayoi Tateishi as sound director and diomedéa providing production assistance.
The anime takes place in a world where 16-year-olds receive blessings from animal gods. The Gorilla God blesses Sophia, a timid noble’s daughter, with extraordinary strength, allowing her to lift over 500 kg. Despite wanting a peaceful life, her unmatched power attracts attention, leading to her recruitment into the royal knights.
The anime blends action, humor, and fantasy to deliver an exciting adventure.
