A new preview trailer for Solo Leveling Season 2, Episode 10 has been released, teasing the intense battle between Sung Jinwoo and Japan’s top S-Rank hunter, Ryuji Goto. The episode, titled “We Need a Hero,” will premiere on Saturday, March 8. It follows up on the second main trailer, which previously teased the deadly ant monsters and the hunters’ struggle against their horror.
The preview highlights Cha Hae-in and the much-anticipated clash between Jinwoo and Ryuji Goto during a friendly match. However, despite demonstrating overwhelming strength against Liu Zhigang, Jinwoo ultimately declines to join the Jeju Island Raid. Instead, he chooses to stay with his mother, who recently awakened from her coma.
The Fourth Jeju Island Raid begins without Jinwoo, and everything seems to go smoothly at first, thanks to the efforts of the top hunters. However, an unexpected twist awaits, hinting at a much greater challenge ahead.
The Solo Leveling anime adapts Chugong and DUBU’s webtoon from REDICE Studio, with h-goon handling the adaptation. It follows Sung Jinwoo, once the world’s weakest hunter, who discovers a unique ability to level up in a world where such power is otherwise impossible.
Solo Leveling was previously the most anticipated anime of Winter 2024 and won Best New Anime at the Winter 2024 Anime Awards. Fans voted Season 2 as the most anticipated show of Winter 2025, placing it fourth in the latest weekly ranking.
