The 43-year-old former Chennai Super Kings (CSK) captain recently confirmed his participation in IPL 2025 despite fitness challenges. Honoring his commitment, CSK retained Dhoni as an uncapped player for INR 2 crore after the IPL governing body relaxed retention rules for retired players. Dhoni has already begun training at the CSK camp, signaling his readiness for the upcoming season.
