India, missing injured captain Shubman Gill, entered the chase under pressure, and Marco Jansen immediately made life difficult. He dismissed both openers with balls that leapt off a length. Washington Sundar tried to steady the innings with a patient 31, but India struggled for partnerships. Dhruv Jurel fell to a mistimed pull, and despite Ravindra Jadeja’s early success in the match, his inconsistency on day three hurt India.
