Former Indian cricketer Vinod Kambli has been hospitalized following a sudden decline in his health. Medical professionals are closely monitoring his condition and performing necessary tests to ensure he receives the right care. This hospitalization comes after recent attention drawn by his frail appearance during a reunion with childhood friend Sachin Tendulkar at a public event, which sparked concerns about Kambli’s ongoing health struggles.
Kambli, 52, has a history of health issues, with his challenges dating back to 2010. In 2013, he suffered a heart attack, and although he seemed to recover initially, his health has remained fragile. He has been candid about his struggles with both physical and mental health, including battles with heart problems, depression, and alcohol-related issues. Despite these challenges, Kambli has received support from his former teammates, notably from members of the 1983 World Cup-winning squad, with Kapil Dev leading the way in offering financial assistance.
