Indian all-rounder Ravichandran Ashwin has etched his name in World Test Championship (WTC) history by becoming the highest wicket-taker in the competition. Ashwin achieved this milestone during Day 1 of the second Test against New Zealand in Pune. After claiming his second wicket of the day, he surpassed Australia’s Nathan Lyon to reach 188 wickets in the WTC, overtaking Lyon’s tally of 187 wickets.
