The second and final Test between India and Bangladesh is set to begin on September 27 at Green Park, Kanpur. India, aiming for a series whitewash, will look to strengthen their chances of qualifying for the World Test Championship Final. Bangladesh showed resilience in the first Test but were eventually outplayed. They will be eager to make a stronger impact in the second match.

However, rain could disrupt the game, especially during the first two days. On September 27, the opening day, there is a 50 percent chance of rain, with overcast conditions expected throughout. The second day has a 44 percent chance of precipitation, raising concerns about overs being lost. This would be the first time rain affects a Test at Green Park since the India-New Zealand match in 2021.
From Day 3 onwards, the weather is expected to improve slightly. Although there is a 39 percent chance of rain, the intensity is likely to be lower. Day 4 is predicted to have just 2 percent chances of precipitation, making it the best day weather-wise. The final day may also see minimal rain, with only 16 percent chance of showers. Overall, overcast conditions throughout the match could impact team strategies.
Temperatures will range from the high 20s to low 30s. Despite reports of a slow and dry pitch, the weather may influence its preparation. If rain introduces moisture, seamers could benefit, possibly leading both teams to opt for a three-seamer, two-spinner combination.
