Despite a valiant effort by MS Dhoni Batting Performance – IPL 2024 towards the end of the innings, CSK fell short of their desired total. CSK captain Ruturaj Gaikwad expressed his disappointment in his post-match speech, acknowledging that the team could have scored 15-20 runs more. He highlighted the importance of taking wickets during the powerplay, a factor that was lacking in both this match and a previous one against Mumbai.
