The ICC has unveiled the Team of the Tournament for the Champions Trophy 2025, with five Indian players making the cut. The selected Indian cricketers include Virat Kohli, Shreyas Iyer, KL Rahul, Mohammad Shami, and Varun Chakaravarthy, highlighting their impactful performances throughout the tournament.

New Zealand’s Mitchell Santner has been named captain of the team, acknowledging his leadership and all-round contributions. His teammates Rachin Ravindra, Glenn Phillips, and Matt Henry have also secured spots in the XI, showcasing New Zealand’s strong presence in the tournament.

Afghanistan’s rising stars Ibrahim Zadran and Azmatullah Omarzai earned selection for their consistent performances and match-winning efforts. Their selection emphasizes Afghanistan’s growing stature in international cricket.

The Champions Trophy 2025 saw several outstanding individual performances, with India dominating the selection with five players.
