In the 22nd match of PSL 2024 between Karachi Kings and Quetta Gladiators, Mohammad Amir, known for his prowess with the ball, faced a setback while batting for Quetta Gladiators. Quetta’s precarious position at 97-6 made Amir’s presence at the crease vital, but his innings ended abruptly as he uprooted his leg stump with a wild slog.

Mohammad Amir managed to score two runs off three deliveries before succumbing to impatience on the fourth ball. Zahid Mahmood, the leg-spinner, delivered a tempting ball on the leg stump line, prompting Amir to go for an aggressive shot that resulted in his dismissal.
