After a 106-run loss in the second Test against India at Visakhapatnam, England, led by Ben Stokes, has left India. The series is now level at 1-1, and the team plans to spend the 10-day break before the third Test in Abu Dhabi. During this break, the players aim to relax off the field and enjoy some golf. Notably, England had a pre-series camp in Abu Dhabi before coming to India, focusing on adapting to subcontinent conditions and playing spinners.

In the series so far, England secured a stunning 28-run victory in the first Test at Hyderabad. Debutant Tom Hartley played a pivotal role, taking eight wickets in the match. However, India fought back in Visakhapatnam, with Yashasvi Jaiswal’s double ton and a century from Shubman Gill helping them set a record 399-run target. Although England fought hard in the fourth innings, chasing nearly 400 was a significant challenge. Captain Ben Stokes praised the team’s resilience and looks forward to the upcoming Test in Rajkot.
The third Test is scheduled to start on February 15, providing England with an opportunity to take the lead once again.
