The highly anticipated World Tennis League (WTL) Season 3 will commence today in Abu Dhabi. The tournament will take place at the Etihad Arena from December 19 to 22, bringing together top tennis talent from around the world.
This year’s competition will feature four dynamic teams: HonorFX Eagles, TSL Hawks, Game Changers Falcons, and Kites, each consisting of four players. In the previous season, the HonorFX Eagles, led by Daniil Medvedev, Andrey Rublev, Mirra Andreeva, and Sofia Kenin, emerged as the champions, setting the stage for another thrilling edition of the league.
The teams will compete in a round-robin format, with each squad playing one match against each of the others. The top two teams, based on the highest number of games won, will advance to the final, scheduled for December 22.
The opening match promises to be an exciting one as the Game Changers Falcons, featuring stars like Elena Rybakina and Andrey Rublev, take on the TSL Hawks, led by World No. 1 Aryna Sabalenka and India’s tennis sensation Sumit Nagal.
As the competition unfolds over the next few days, tennis fans can expect high-level action and thrilling matchups, culminating in the crowning of the WTL Season 3 champion.
