🏍️ Jorge Martin Breaks Silence on Injury: “I Will Get Through It” 💪🏁

MotoGP World Champion Jorge Martin has spoken for the first time since suffering multiple fractures in his left hand earlier this week, vowing to overcome yet another setback.

🚑 Martin Ruled Out of Thailand GP

The new factory Aprilia rider sustained the injury on Monday, February 24, and underwent surgery soon after. Unfortunately, doctors confirmed that Martin will miss the season-opening Thai Grand Prix in Buriram this weekend ❌🇹🇭.

This latest injury adds to an already difficult preseason, as Martin previously fractured his foot and hand during the first day of testing in Sepang earlier this month, forcing him to sit out the entire winter testing program 🏥.

🗣️ Martin: “The Blows Are Always Hard”

Breaking his silence on social media, Martin admitted the past month has been physically and mentally draining:

🔹 “The blows are always hard, but when they come one after another, the impact is multiplied.”
🔹 “This time, they have been especially strong, both physically and mentally, and have made me miss the opening race of the season for the first time in my life.”

🔄 How Did the Injury Happen?

Martin revealed that his latest setback occurred while training for the first time since his Sepang crash in an attempt to regain fitness for Thailand.

📉 “On Monday, I suffered a highside that caused four new fractures, in addition to the three I already had from two weeks ago.”

💪 A Fighting Spirit: “I Will Get Through It”

Despite starting the year on a rough note, Martin remains determined to return only when he has fully recovered.

🏆 “If there is one thing I am clear about, it is that blows can be overcome.”
💪 “I don’t know if this will make me stronger, but I do know that I will get through it, as I always have.”

With no set timeline for his return, Martin emphasized that his priority is 100% recovery:
