MotoGP superstar Marc Marquez has revealed the heartfelt message he sent to Jorge Martin, urging the reigning world champion to “respect your body” amid his injury struggles 🏆💔.
🚑 Martin’s Tough Pre-Season
Martin has endured a brutal winter ahead of his Aprilia debut, starting with a major crash on the first day of testing in Malaysia 🇲🇾, which left him with multiple fractures and forced him to undergo surgery.
Just as he was preparing for the 2025 season opener in Thailand, he suffered a complex wrist fracture while training, requiring another surgery 😓.
As a result, Martin has been ruled out of the Thai Grand Prix 🇹🇭 and the Argentina GP 🇦🇷, with his return date still uncertain.

📱 Marquez’s Message of Support
Marquez, who rushed his return from a broken arm in 2020, leading to four major surgeries over two years, sent Martin a private text offering advice from his own experience.
🗣️ “What happened with Martin is part of our sport. When you’re world champion, your motivation and confidence are extra high. Sometimes, you don’t see the limit.”
🗣️ “I told him to ‘respect your body.’ I didn’t in the past, and I paid the price. If you miss a few races, it’s nothing – he’s young, talented, and has a long career ahead.”
🏎️ Bagnaia: “No Rush, Long Recovery Ahead”
Marquez’s Ducati teammate, Francesco Bagnaia, echoed his sentiments, sending Martin a message of encouragement.
🗣️ “I told him to keep calm and not rush. If he has another accident before being fully fit, he could put his entire career at risk. Sometimes, it’s better to wait.”
🔄 Aprilia Brings in a Replacement
While Martin focuses on his recovery, Aprilia test rider Lorenzo Savadori will step in for the Thai and Argentine GPs 🏁.
