KTM expresses continued interest in Marc Marquez, leaving the possibility open for the Spanish rider to join their ranks in 2025.

Despite Marc Marquez’s recent move to Ducati, KTM has not ruled out the chance of the Spanish rider donning their colors in the future.
Marquez, now associated with Gresini Racing for a one-year deal, has the option to explore his options for the future once his current contract expires. KTM, which shares Red Bull as a major sponsor with Marquez, has been linked to the rider, and their interest appears unabated.
When directly questioned about the potential recruitment of Marquez for 2025, Marc Coma, the managing director of KTM Spain, expressed admiration for Marquez’s resilience after challenging years and extended his best wishes for the rider’s future. Coma refrained from denying KTM’s interest, stating that the future is uncertain, and more clarity might emerge in the middle of the next season.
Notably, Marquez, during the previous season’s Austrian MotoGP, sat alongside the KTM boss on a TV show and discussed his appreciation for the team’s progress. KTM has ambitious plans to expand its presence on the MotoGP grid, and with the addition of promising rider Pedro Acosta this year, the prospect of a lineup featuring both Acosta and Marquez intrigues many MotoGP enthusiasts.
While the 2024 season will see Marquez on a Ducati, KTM, with ongoing development led by current factory riders Brad Binder and Jack Miller, could position themselves as contenders for Marquez’s long-term commitment in the future. However, Marquez’s immediate focus remains on his upcoming season with Ducati.
