While Miller aims to join Maverick Vinales in winning with three different manufacturers, his challenging start to the 2024 season has led to speculation about his future.
Acosta’s remarkable performances, outshining seasoned riders like Miller and Brad Binder, have fueled rumors of him potentially replacing Miller at the Red Bull KTM team.
So, what options does Miller have?
1. Move to GasGas:
Despite preferring to stay with a factory team, Miller could consider joining GASGAS. This move would enable him to continue his MotoGP journey with KTM’s satellite team, offering a competitive environment alongside valuable experience.
2. Test Rider Role at KTM:
While a test rider role could be an option, Miller likely sees it as a last resort. Given his competitiveness, he may prefer to remain a race rider rather than transition into a testing role, especially with KTM boasting an impressive test rider lineup.

3. Switch to WorldSBK:
Although a move to WorldSBK may seem like a step back, the series has become highly competitive. With top manufacturers like Ducati and Yamaha potentially interested, Miller could find himself contending for race wins and championships in WorldSBK.
4. Move to Another MotoGP Factory Team:
While seats at Ducati, Aprilia, and Yamaha’s factory teams seem unlikely, uncertainty surrounding Joan Mir’s future at Repsol Honda could open up opportunities for Miller. A move to Repsol Honda could provide him with a chance to remain a factory rider.
5. Satellite Options:
Miller could explore opportunities with satellite teams like Trackhouse Racing, LCR Honda, or potentially Yamaha. Joining Trackhouse Racing alongside Joe Roberts or partnering with LCR Honda could offer competitive rides outside of factory teams.
