UFC featherweight Bryce Mitchell often grabs headlines with his outspoken and colorful personality, sharing bold opinions that spark attention. This time, Mitchell has turned his attention to Elon Musk, the world’s wealthiest individual, delivering a scathing critique during an appearance on the Believe You Me podcast.
Mitchell didn’t hold back as he criticized Musk’s ambitions, specifically targeting Tesla vehicles and Musk’s Neuralink company. In an intense rant, Mitchell accused Musk of deceiving the public and trying to “destroy humanity.” He expressed particular disdain for Neuralink’s efforts to implant microchips into human brains, referring to the technology as “the mark of the beast.”
“Elon Musk is a liar. He’s trying to destroy humanity. Anybody that’s ever trusted him, they’ve been deceived,” Mitchell said. “He’s selling microchips to put in people’s heads, acting like he’s some kind of doctor. That’s the mark of the beast right there.”
Mitchell continued, amplifying his concerns about the potential dangers of such technology. “This is the kind of technology the anti-Christ will use. These chips will monitor everything you buy, everything you sell. It’s going to lead to a type of communism like the world has never seen.”
The UFC fighter’s skepticism about Musk’s technological pursuits extended to his electric cars. Mitchell claimed that the real motivation behind electric vehicles is to give Musk the power to control people’s lives. “He wants electric cars because they’re terrible and controllable,” Mitchell said. “He could shut your car off whenever you make a mean tweet. It’s all about control. One day, he’ll be able to press a button, and your car could fly off a bridge or lock you in.”
Mitchell also took aim at Musk’s reputation, calling his cars subpar and doubting his credibility in space exploration. “He’s never been to space. He can’t go to space. He knows the Earth is flat,” Mitchell added. “His cars suck, and he’s a lying rat bastard.”
As Mitchell prepares to return to the UFC octagon this Saturday at UFC 310, where he’ll face Kron Gracie on the main card, it seems the fighter’s fiery rhetoric is only intensifying.
