The UFC is back in China for UFC Fight Night 248, set to take place at the Galaxy Arena in Macau. With 13 exciting bouts lined up, the official weigh-ins for the event have concluded, and all 26 fighters successfully made weight, ensuring the event will go ahead as planned.

Headlining the card are two former champions, Petr Yan and Deiveson Figueiredo, both of whom weighed in comfortably under the bantamweight limit of 136 pounds.

Main Event: Former Champions Ready to Battle

Petr Yan (17-5), a former bantamweight champion, is eager to reassert his dominance in the division following a difficult three-fight losing streak. The Russian fighter, known as “No Mercy,” most recently earned a decision victory over Song Yadong in his last fight. Yan tipped the scales at 135.5 pounds, slightly over the limit but still under the 136-pound threshold for the bantamweight division.

Deiveson Figueiredo (24-3-1), a former flyweight champion, has been impressive since moving up to bantamweight, securing three consecutive victories over top contenders such as Rob Font, Cody Garbrandt, and Marlon Vera. The Brazilian, known as “Daico,” weighed in at exactly 135 pounds and aims to make a strong case for another title shot with a victory in this highly anticipated match.
