Ryan Garcia: “I’ll Knock Out Jake Paul in Five Rounds”

Ryan Garcia is eager to face Jake Paul when he returns from his suspension in April 2025, and he’s confident that his superior technical skills will lead him to victory, despite the size difference.

Garcia (24-1, 20 KOs) is ready for a showdown with the cruiserweight YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul (11-1, 7 KOs), declaring that he could knock Paul out in just five rounds. Speaking to Ariel Helwani on his YouTube channel, Garcia explained why he believes he would prevail in a potential bout.

“I could be fighting Jake Paul. He was trying to take on an old Mike Tyson, and we’ve joked about running it one day. That kind of sparked his boxing career, but I’m here to finish it,” Garcia said. “If I fought Jake, I’d probably weigh in at 185 pounds. People think I’m too small, but skills pay the bills.”

Garcia’s comments came as he discussed his plans for when he returns to the ring after his year-long suspension. He expressed confidence in his ability to overpower Paul, stating that if Paul fought the way he did against Mike Tyson, Garcia would likely knock him out in four or five rounds.

Despite Paul’s unorthodox rise in the sport, Garcia believes that Paul’s previous opponents haven’t posed the same level of challenge as he would. The proposed fight would be a dangerous matchup for Paul, with Garcia’s youth and refined boxing technique making him a formidable opponent.

As Garcia eyes a future showdown with Paul, fans eagerly speculate on how the highly anticipated fight might unfold once both fighters step into the ring.
