Following Alpine’s disappointing performance in the Bahrain Grand Prix, driver Pierre Gasly remains hopeful that the team can address the issues with their A524 car in the upcoming races, despite recent setbacks.
Pierre Gasly, qualifying last in Sakhir, expressed confidence in the team’s ability to make progress with car development. Albeit acknowledging that immediate improvements may be limited for the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix. He emphasized the relentless nature of Formula 1 competition, noting that rival teams are also continuously working to enhance their performance.

While acknowledging the challenges ahead, Gasly praised the dedication and mindset of the Alpine staff, highlighting their collective determination to overcome the current difficulties. He stressed the importance of patience in the development process, recognizing that significant improvements require time and effort.
Issues with the left front wheelgun during pit stops further complicated Gasly’s Bahrain race, contributing to his challenging race outcome. Despite the set backs, he remains focused on identifying areas for improvement and striving for better results in the upcoming races.
Teammate Esteban Ocon echoed Gasly’s sentiments, emphasizing the lessons learned from Bahrain and expressing optimism for the team’s performance at the Jeddah track, which historically has been more favorable for Alpine.
As Alpine continues its efforts to address car issues and improve performance, both drivers remain committed to maximizing their potential and aiming for stronger showings in the upcoming races.
