Arsenal fans face a significant blow as the club has set season ticket prices for the 2024/25 campaign to increase by a staggering 10.3 per cent.
As the 2023/24 season concludes, the Reach Data Unit has revealed that 70 Premier League and EFL clubs have announced their season ticket prices for the upcoming season. Among these, Arsenal’s prices have surged the most, with the cheapest adult tickets now costing £1,073—a £100 increase from last season. This jump marks the largest price hike in the country.
Over the past decade, Arsenal’s season ticket prices have risen by 5.8 per cent. In the 2014/15 campaign, the club charged £1,014 for an adult season ticket, which was £249 more than their north London rivals, Tottenham Hotspur.
Arsenal is one of 47 clubs that have raised their prices, with the average increase across these clubs being £35.43. Meanwhile, 19 clubs have frozen their prices, and only four have reduced them.
Despite the steep prices, Arsenal fans can find solace in the high-quality football being played under Mikel Arteta. The Gunners finished as Premier League runners-up for the second consecutive season, pushing Manchester City to the final day before City clinched their fourth straight title.
While the price hike is a tough pill to swallow, the on-pitch performance may offer some consolation to the loyal Gooners who continue to support their team week in and week out.
