Indian women’s football team head coach Santosh Kashyap has unveiled a 23-member squad for the SAFF Women’s Championship 2024. Set to take place at Dasarath Stadium in Kathmandu, Nepal, from October 17 to 30. This marks Kashyap’s first assignment since taking charge of the team last month.
India is in Group A, where it will compete against Bangladesh and Pakistan, while host nation Nepal will compete in Group B with Sri Lanka, Maldives, and Bhutan. After a three-week training camp in Goa, the team will depart for Kathmandu on October 15.
The Blue Tigresses will kick off their campaign against Pakistan on October 17, followed by a crucial match against defending champions Bangladesh on October 23. Both semifinals are scheduled for October 27, and the final will take place on October 30.
