Harry Kane Confident for Euro 2024 Despite Injury Concerns

Despite missing the final two matches of the season due to a back problem, Harry Kane remains optimistic about his fitness for Euro 2024 with the England national team.

The Bayern Munich forward missed the last games against Wolfsburg and Hoffenheim following a Champions League semi-final defeat at Real Madrid. Where he was substituted late due to the back issue. Manager Thomas Tuchel acknowledged that Kane was dealing with significant discomfort.

Although Bayern concluded the season without securing any major silverware for the first time in over a decade, Kane’s personal performance remained impressive, with 44 goals scored in 45 appearances across all competitions.

Sources close to Kane consider the current injury precautionary and expect him to be in optimal condition for Euro 2024. England’s training squad for upcoming friendlies against Bosnia and Herzegovina and Iceland also includes him.

Gareth Southgate, England’s manager, expressed confidence in Kane’s recovery process, emphasizing that the injury does not raise significant concerns at the moment. Southgate praised Kane’s commitment and performance throughout the season, despite the disappointment of not securing a league title.
