The Glazers are prepared to offload two Manchester United players to raise funds for additional transfers, according to reports. Despite a busy summer for the Red Devils, which saw the acquisition of Bologna striker Joshua Zirkzee and Lille’s Leny Yoro in high-profile deals, the club’s spending spree is set to continue.
Manchester United’s transfer targets now include midfielder Manuel Ugarte and Adrien Rabiot, with centre-backs Jarrad Branthwaite and Matthijs de Ligt also under consideration. However, these deals are expected to be costly. To facilitate further transfers, the Glazers have identified Aaron Wan-Bissaka and Victor Lindelöf as potential candidates for sale.
A source close to the Glazers told ESPN: “Joel and Avram [Glazer] are open to selling Wan-Bissaka or Lindelöf. They assess the cost-effectiveness of such moves by comparing potential sale prices with the expense of signing replacements. If retaining the players costs less than signing new ones, they would prefer to keep them for another season.”

Wan-Bissaka, who was initially set to be out of contract this summer, had his deal extended by a year. While Lindelöf’s contract was also extended under similar terms. Both players have been linked with departures this summer, with West Ham reportedly interested in Wan-Bissaka, and advanced talks already underway.
Lindelöf’s prospects at Old Trafford look slim, with him being behind Lisandro Martínez in the defensive pecking order. His position could become even more precarious if United adds further defensive reinforcements.
In addition to Wan-Bissaka and Lindelöf, Manchester United is considering selling other players. Including former captain Harry Maguire, Christian Eriksen, Casemiro, and Scott McTominay. McTominay has already attracted interest, with Fulham’s bid being rejected and Galatasaray confirming they are in talks for his services.
