Plymouth to Host Liverpool in FA Cup Fourth Round

Plymouth Argyle, currently at the bottom of the Championship, pulled off a stunning upset by defeating Premier League side Brentford 1-0 on Saturday, securing their place in the FA Cup fourth round. The result marked one of the biggest shocks of the weekend.

In other notable fourth-round matchups, League One leaders Birmingham City will face Newcastle United at home, while fellow third-tier side Exeter City will take on Nottingham Forest at St James Park.

The FA Cup holders, Manchester United, who progressed after defeating Arsenal on penalties, will face 2021 winners Leicester City in an exciting clash.

Three all-Premier League ties are also set, with Tottenham Hotspur travelling to Aston Villa, Brighton & Hove Albion hosting Chelsea, and Bournemouth making the trip to Everton.

Manchester City will visit either Leyton Orient or Derby County, with the latter’s third-round tie postponed due to a frozen pitch on Saturday. Crystal Palace will travel to League Two side Doncaster Rovers.

The FA Cup fourth-round matches will be played over the weekend of Saturday, 8 February.
