The Football Association (FA) has announced that semi-automated offside technology π₯οΈβ½ will be used for the first time in the FA Cup during seven matches held at Premier League stadiums.

πΉ The Premier League will also look to introduce the technology later this season following its successful use in the FA Cup.
πΉ Initially approved in April 2024, the system was delayed until further testing ensured full efficiency.
