Max Eberl, Bayern Munich’s sporting director, has shifted attention away from the search for a new manager and towards the crucial Champions League clash against Arsenal on Tuesday.
Thomas Tuchel, Bayern’s current boss, has confirmed his departure at the end of the season, creating uncertainty around the managerial position. Despite this, Eberl expressed his disregard for the manager search, emphasizing the importance of the upcoming match against Arsenal.
Eberl’s blunt response reflected his prioritization of the Arsenal game over managerial matters, stating, “I don’t give a s*** about the search for a coach. Now it’s all about the Arsenal game.”
The recent 3-2 defeat to Heidenheim has amplified concerns among fans, but Eberl emphasized the need for a turn around in performance ahead of the Arsenal clash.
Tuchel, in the aftermath of his departure announcement, affirmed his commitment to achieving success with the team until the end of the season.
