Arsenal remains firmly in contention for the Premier League title after securing a draw against Manchester City, trailing leaders Liverpool by just two points with nine games left in the season.
Ahead of their upcoming clash against Luton Town, Gary Lineker has voiced his support for Mikel Arteta’s side in the title race.
Arteta has confirmed that Gabriel Martinelli will be fit to start against Luton, offering a boost to Arsenal’s lineup. Martinelli, who was on the bench in the match against City, will be available from the beginning at the Emirates Stadium.
“We have discussed that and pushing each other and being available to contribute in any way to help us win the game and perform consistently at the level that we need to, so we’re going to need everybody,” Arteta stated regarding Martinelli’s availability.

Meanwhile, Gary Neville criticized David Raya for his performance against Manchester City, particularly highlighting his “terrible” kicking and struggles to maintain balance. Despite keeping a clean sheet, Raya’s performance faced scrutiny, with Neville expressing disappointment with the goalkeeper’s form.
In discussions about the Premier League title race on The Rest Is Football podcast, Lineker reiterated his support for Arsenal but expressed some doubts. While Arsenal remains his pick, Lineker acknowledged the possibility of Liverpool clinching the title. He said, “Well, I’ve stuck throughout with Arsenal, I’m going to stick with them. But I’ve got a slight feeling all three of us might be wrong. But we shall see.”
As Arsenal continues its pursuit of the Premier League title, the support from Lineker and the availability of Martinelli provide encouragement for the team as they navigate through the remaining fixtures.
