Alyssa Naeher Leads USA to W Gold Cup Final in Rain-Soaked Semi-Final Against Canada

In a dramatic rain-soaked encounter, Alyssa Naeher emerged as the hero for the United States as they secured a spot in the Concacaf W Gold Cup final after defeating Canada in a penalty shootout following a 2-2 draw.

Naeher’s heroics in the penalty shootout, where she made three crucial saves, propelled the United States to a 3-1 victory on penalties, setting up a final showdown against Brazil on Sunday evening. Brazil secured their spot in the final by defeating Mexico 3-0 in the earlier semi-final match.
