Raza’s choice to bat first came with the understanding that setting a competitive total could be the key to keeping the series alive. Pakistan’s captain, Salman Agha, expressed confidence in chasing a target, stating that he wasn’t concerned about either setting or chasing a score. Both teams fielded unchanged lineups for this crucial encounter.
The Zimbabwe squad included Brian Bennett, Tadiwanashe Marumani (wk), Dion Myers, Sikandar Raza (capt), Ryan Burl, Clive Madande, Tashinga Musekiwa, Wellington Masakadza, Richard Ngarava, Blessing Muzarabani, and Trevor Gwandu.
On the other hand, Pakistan’s lineup featured Omair Yousuf, Saim Ayub, Usman Khan (wk), Salman Agha (capt), Tayyab Tahir, Irfan Khan, Jahandad Khan, Abbas Afridi, Haris Rauf, Abrar Ahmed, and Sufiyan Muqeem.
As Zimbabwe aims to level the series, both teams gear up for a competitive match, with the hosts needing a win to stay in contention.
