Sri Lanka have unveiled their squad for the upcoming India ODI series 2024, with Charith Asalanka set to lead the team. Seam-bowling all-rounder Chamika Karunaratne makes his return to the white-ball setup after missing the recent T20I series.

Charith Asalanka will captain Sri Lanka’s ODI lineup, bringing his dynamic leadership from the T20 format into the ODIs. The top-order features a solid lineup with Pathum Nissanka, Avishka Fernando, and Kusal Mendis, offering a strong start.
Sadeera Samarawickrama, who has shown significant improvement as an ODI batter, will bat at number four. He is followed by skipper Charith Asalanka, Janith Liyanage, and the versatile spin-bowling all-rounder Wanindu Hasaranga.
Sri Lanka’s spin department looks potent with Maheesh Theekshana, Dunith Wellalage, and Akila Dananjaya leading the attack. The fast-bowling unit is spearheaded by Dilshan Madushanka and Matheesha Pathirana.
