Lauren Winfield-Hill replaces Suzie Bates, who captained the team in the 2022 championship final and the last five games of 2023. Winfield-Hill, the all-time top scorer for the Oval Invincibles since joining in 2022, brings significant experience from over 100 national team games. However, she is not currently part of any Women’s Premier League (WPL) team. She previously led the Northern Superchargers in The Hundred in 2021.

Sam Billings aims to retain the trophy for the men’s team. No men’s team has won The Hundred twice, and Billings, with his extensive experience, is keen to achieve this milestone. The Oval Invincibles women’s team has won titles in 2021 and 2022.

The upcoming season of The Hundred begins on July 23rd, featuring eight teams.
