The team is determined to bounce back after missing the knockout stages last year. With a blend of seasoned players and emerging talent, Maharashtra looks well-prepared under Gaikwad’s leadership. Key players like Ankeet Bawane, Rahul Tripathi, and Mukesh Choudhary will offer crucial support. In the wicketkeeping department, the team has options in Nikhil Naik and Dhanraj Shinde. Meanwhile, all-rounders like Rajvardhan Hangargekar and spinner Prashant Solanki are expected to play pivotal roles in the bowling attack.

Placed in the competitive Group E, Maharashtra faces tough opponents, including Kerala, Mumbai, Andhra Pradesh, Goa, Services, and Nagaland. Despite the challenges, Gaikwad’s form and strategic captaincy provide plenty of hope for Maharashtra’s fans. Having narrowly missed qualification last year, the team will be eager to make a strong statement this time.

Maharashtra begins their campaign on Saturday, November 23, against Nagaland. With pressure mounting, the squad’s depth and experience, therefore, could make a significant impact. Moreover, if the team starts strong, they stand a good chance of eventually securing a spot in the knockouts.
