Zahidul Islam, the team physio, explained, “A ball hit directly at the left parietal area (head) of Mustafizur Rahman. There was an open wound, and we used a compression bandage to stop bleeding. He was immediately shifted to Imperial Hospital. After a CT scan, we confirm there is no intracranial bleeding, only an external injury. The surgical team has given him stitches on the open wound.”

Comilla’s media manager, Sohanuzzaman Khan, mentioned that Mustafizur appeared to be in good spirits during the preparation for the hospital ride. “When we were prepping him for the ride to the hospital, he seemed to be acting normally,” he said.
