Mandhana’s innings was a masterclass in shot selection. She dominated the powerplay, hitting seven consecutive boundaries, including three each off Chinelle Henry and Deandra Dottin. Her aggressive approach took India to 99/1 at the 10-over mark, setting up a strong foundation for the team. Jemimah Rodrigues supported her with 39 runs, forming a 98-run partnership before falling to a full delivery.

Raghvi Bist, playing just her second T20I, helped maintain the momentum with a quickfire 31. Ghosh then took charge, blasting three fours and five sixes in her 17-ball 50, bringing the crowd to life. Her innings included a reprieve when Aaliyah Alleyne and Henry collided near the boundary, allowing Ghosh to continue her assault.

In response, West Indies fought hard, with Henry scoring 43 off 16 balls, but they lost momentum after her dismissal. Radha Yadav’s four-wicket haul helped India seal the win, while West Indies finished with 155/9. This marked India’s first bilateral T20I series win at home since 2019.
