Lucknow Super Giants pulled off a thrilling three-wicket win over Kolkata Knight Riders in a last-ball finish, thanks to a stunning knock by young Mukul Choudhary. Chasing 182, LSG were in deep trouble at 128 for 7, with Choudhary struggling early on 2 off 8 balls. However, the 21-year-old turned the game around in spectacular fashion, smashing an unbeaten 54 off just 25 balls.

With 54 runs needed from the last four overs, Choudhary took control, hitting powerful sixes and shifting momentum towards LSG. The final over was full of drama, with 14 runs required. After a single on the first ball, Choudhary launched a six over square leg. Despite two dot balls increasing the tension, he managed another incredible six to bring the equation down to one run off the final ball. Though he missed the last delivery, a quick bye sealed an unforgettable victory.
Earlier, Ayush Badoni played a crucial role with a steady 54, helping LSG recover from early setbacks. His partnership stabilized the innings before Choudhary’s late heroics took over.
For KKR, Ajinkya Rahane (41) and Angkrish Raghuvanshi (45) built a solid foundation with an 84-run stand. Later, Rovman Powell’s unbeaten 39 helped push the total to 181 for 4. At one stage, KKR looked in complete control and were strong favourites to win.
However, Choudhary’s fearless finishing completely changed the game. His remarkable innings not only secured victory for LSG but also announced the arrival of a new match-winner in the IPL.
